Centre back Daniel Parslow joined York City in 2005 and spent a total of 12 years playing for the club over two periods. With 384 appearances for the club, Daniel became a popular figure amongst the fans winning Clubman of the Year three times. He is 10th in York City’s all time appearance list.
Sadly, he was forced to retire from the game in the 2018-19 season following a serious head injury resulting in prolonged concussion. The club has honoured his long-service by awarding a Benefit Year which will feature a match at Bootham Crescent and a series of other events.
